Since 1959, the ARTEMIDE group has been at the forefront of the international lighting world, taking pride in its Italian manufacturing quality and design and aiming to design lights which encompass a fine balance of form, function, innovation and efficiency, which is still being achieved worldwide today.

Artemide has been synonymous for such design classics as the Tizio and Tolomeo. For more than 40 years Artemide has focused on the ability to understand what people expect from light and to offer solutions combining beauty and functionality.

Artemide consists of decorative, indoor architectural and outdoor lighting ranges and offers lamps not only for domestic relaxation, but also for sophisticated lamp installations for large public, private and commercial projects.

Ornare Imports based in Adelaide, now trading as ARTEMIDE Australia, became sole Australian distributors for the international lighting group Artemide in 1990. As the exclusive Australian distributors of the Milan based Artemide, Artemide Australia has dedicated its business to Artemide lighting and is also Head Office for Milan based designer accessories company DANESE MILANO which was founded in 1957.

The entire Danese collection is composed of versatile objects divided into three main themes; LIVING, WORKING and LIGHTING – a modern answer between the relationship between people and their space.
